You do not have to find every word in English to begin.
At Integrity Psychology, therapy and psychological assessment start with understanding your concerns in context. Speak in Mandarin, English, or use both as you talk about what matters to you.

More than a language preference
Some experiences are easier to describe in Mandarin; others may come more naturally in English. You can use the language that fits the conversation, without needing to know psychological terms.
Family relationships, cultural expectations and life experiences can shape the meaning of a concern. We make room for your perspective rather than assuming that every Mandarin-speaking person or family has the same experience.

Adult psychologyFor your child
A parent may prefer Mandarin while a child or teenager feels more comfortable in English. Both perspectives can help us understand the concern.
